The ruins of Diocletian's Palace, built between the late 3rd and the early 4th centuries A.D., can be found throughout the city. The cathedral was built in the Middle Age, reusing materials from the ancient mausoleum. We will also see 12th- and 13th-century Romanesque churches, medieval fortifications, 15th-century Gothic palaces and other palaces in Renaissance and Baroque style.
Park Forest Marjan is a preserved pine forest hill located on western banks of Split peninsula and the best entertainment area of the city. Today Park Hill Marjan is well preserved area and during the weekend, you can see thousands of citizens and tourists recreating and walking in Park Forest. I will take you to two view points where you can observe a panoramic view.
