Our guide will meet you at your hotel or at the airport by air-conditioned vehicle and take you to explore one of the seven wonders of the ancient world: the Great Pyramids of Kheops, Khephren and Mykerinus!
Built there over 4 500 years to accommodate the mummified bodies of kings, these grandiose pyramids still stand up to tell the history and traditions of Egypt. You will also have the chance to enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the three pyramids and the Temple of the valley to the Great Sphinx.
After this visit you can have lunch in a restaurant and then discover the necropolis of Sakkara and enjoy the museum of Imhotep. This museum has an amazing collection of mummies and statues but you will also find pots and tools of daily life of the ancient Egyptians. After visiting the museum, you will discover the pyramid of King Zoser, the oldest pyramid in Egypt, built 4800 years ago! This pyramid is unique because it consists of 6 steps (Mastaba) and has numerous underground wells.
You will also have the chance to visit a grave of one of the most senior officials of the former kingdom. This tomb is very well preserved and has the same original color when it was painted there thousands of years.
