Visit Nuuksio National Park, one of Finland’s top 10 nature attractions, and enjoy a walk with professional biologist. The park is located within the boundaries of the Greater Helsinki, and it takes about an hour and a half to reach the park from the city center by public transportation.
We will meet in the center of Helsinki, and travel by commuter train to Espoo center and then take a local bus to the park.
The main features of the park are numerous forest lakes, tall coniferous or mixed forest, with trees growing around enormous primeval rocks. The forest is inhabited by various animals, including such rare species as the Siberian flying squirrel, found in Europe only in Finland and Estonia.
Children of 6-16 years old, accompanied by adults, are guided for free.
