Guided hiking adventure in the National Park Kornati. This little adventure consists of a boat trip and a ride on one of the highest peak in the National Park Kornati (Metlina peak with a height of 237 meters). Please note we will have to climb!
Regular starting point is Vodice, where we board the speed - boat that will take us to the island of Kornat, the largest island of over 100 islands and rocks in the National Park. During our voyage to the island of Kornat, we enter through the south entrance of NP and explore the great part of the National Park and discover the distinctive beauty of the National Park, like the white rocks. Due to the fact that three quarters of the territory of the National Park is sea, best way to see most of the NP's beauties with the boat. After half an hour of sailing, we reach island of Kornat. When we work on the island, it warms our legs with a rapid rise on the ruins of the fort of the sixteenth century with the foundation dates dated to the brink of history. With our feet well warmed up, we head to the picturesque village, consisting of a few houses, but with no permanent inhabitants. Then we'll start the main Metlina mounted on the peak. During the climb, we will make several stops for rehydration. At the top of the island, will make us a lunch break and prepared lunch pack, made of tradicional Croatian delicacy and energy bar. When we rest enough, we slowly go down to our skipper and the Board of Directors.
From the island of Kornat return to Vodice, we will use another rout, through a narrow path on the northern border of NP, called Mala Proversa.
