Kamakura was the capital of the Japan during the period where the first samurai ruler, Minamoto no Yoritomo ruled Japan from the 12th to the 14th century.
We will visit the Hasedera temple which contains the large statue of kannon, the goddess of mercy.
We can admire a beautiful Japanese garden and a superb panorama on the Pacific sea.
Then we can enjoy the famous Daibutsu, a Buddha over 13 m high.
After admiring the great Buddha, we discover the Tsuruokahachimangu Sanctuary which was the spiritual center of the Samurai.We also appreciate the Taikobashi bridge which was reserved for the family of the Shogun.
