Guided tour for bird watching in the Natural Park of the Guadalhorce.

Guadalhorce river is the last bastion of the vast marsh that once surrounded the river. The natural reserve consists of several ponds and a mile of beach that can be seen from afar. The number of species in this area is considerable, especially during migration periods.

I will also lend you binoculars and a telescope.

The most important species are:

Throughout the year: Gallinule, Kentish, Kingfisher.

Summer: Little Bittern, Red-necked Nightjar, European Bee-eater.

Winter: Black Scoter, Atlantic Gannet, Great Cormorant, Osprey, Nightingale Bluethroat.

Passing: Squacco, Great Egret, Purple Heron, Glossy Ibis, Spoonbill, Picofina Gull, Audouin's gull.
