The Valley of the Kings is a valley in Egypt where, for a period of nearly 500 years, tombs were constructed for the kings of the New Kingdom (the 18th to the 20th Dynasties of Ancient Egypt). The valley stands on the west bank of the Nile, opposite Luxor, within the heart of the Theban Necropolis. the valley is known to contain 63 tombs, and was the principal burial place of the major royal figures of the Egyptian New Kingdom.The Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut is situated beneath the cliffs at Deir El Bahari on the west bank of the Nile near the Valley of the Kings . Designed by the architect Senemut.
We start our Tour by Pick you up from the Agreed place (any hotel within Luxor.)
We will drive for about 40 minutes head to the West side of the River Nile ( known by natives as West Bank) , We will visit there:
1- The Valley of The Kings ( Our ticket will allow us to visit 3 tombs from the best , If you want to visit the tomb of King Tut-Ankh-Amun its with an extra ticket.)
2- Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (A Funerary Temple designed on terraced style by the Queen who ruled Egypt as male ruler.)
3- 2 Colossi of Memnon (located at the front of the ruined Amonophiss|||'s temple.)
Finally I will conduct you back to your hotel.
